Lead Charter School - Jersey City

LEAD Charter School is New Jersey's first disconnection prevention and recovery charter high school specifically designed to serve young people 16-21 years old who are not participating in school or the workforce. We serve young people who have previously attempted, but not completed, high school. We offer academics in addition to training in the Construction or Allied Health trades. Young people find a unique school community in LEAD Charter School that balances rigorous academics in a supportive, loving community of professional educators and advocate counselors.

LEAD hopes to offer its mission to more opportunity youth by opening an additional location in Jersey City in the fall of 2025.
